Kia ora, My name is Bethany and I am new to the Little Red Fox Team but have been a home based educator for six years through another provider. I hold a current First Aid Certificate and have Level 4 Early Childhood qualification.
I have two children who are 11 and 8 and have a passion for watching and helping children learn and grow. I believe all children should be able to learn in an environment which is calm and nurturing and encourages learning through play. I believe play based learning, with many different experiences and opportunities each day extends the childrens' learning and interests. I believe all children need to be encouraged to explore learn and grow at their own pace, so therefore we base our activities around children's current interests and learning. We love to be involved in community outings, group activities and nature based play.
