​Kia ora,
My name is Bethany Fox and I am the owner operator of the Nelson and Marlborough Little Red Fox Early Childhood Education registered company.
I have my Bachelors in Teaching and Learning Early Childhood Education and have been in the childcare industry for 12 years.  My passion is in providing support, love, quality care and educational development for young children and their families. I firmly believe that early childhood is the time to build children’s confidence so high that they shoot for the stars and to provide a foundation of wellbeing that will help them to reach their full potential in life.

Little Red Fox home-based childcare provides a wonderful opportunity for this kind of focussed care through smaller ratios, quality teacher training, and educational developmentally engaging activities for the children.

I have two young children and as a parent I know that I would want an ECE educator who genuinely cares in the educational growth and development of my children. This is my drive and focus for the educators in Nelson and Marlborough. My team of educators are kind, nurturing, passionate and empowering, so much so, that my own children are often in their care.

Sarah Blake

Regional Manager

Kia ora my name is Sarah and I am the Regional Manager for Little Red Fox ECE. 
I am a mum to three gorgeous children, Mia, Blake and Charlotte and live with my partner Daniel and our rabbit Ollie. 
I have been in the early childhood education sector for the past 12 years and have loved every minute. I have a passion for home based education and love watching young children learn and grow and feel privileged to be a part of this fantastic team here at Little Red Fox.

 Emma McArtney

Blenheim Visiting Teacher 

Kia Ora, my name is Emma, I have lived here in sunny Marlborough for all of my adult life. I moved here with my family from England when I was twelve. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful school aged children. I have been working within ECE settings since I was seventeen, early childhood education has always been a passion of mine. I am a registered and qualified teacher with a bachelor of teaching ECE. I have worked with children of all ages and had many years of experience with children aged between the ages of 0-5. 
In our family we enjoy training, travelling, boating, fishing, going down the sounds to the family batch, spending time with each other and making the most of different experiences both near and far.
My home life reflects my passion for teaching; making the most of a moment, enjoying the small discoveries, making the most of the big and exciting experiences, and of course looking after each other. Home based childcare and education has always been a passion of mine, not only in the way that we are able to support, foster and teach the tamariki, but also the way I am able to be part of supporting educators and whanau through the tamariki’s learning journey.

Geri Plant

Blenheim Manager

Hi my Name is Geri Plant and I have the fantastic job of being one of the Managers/Visiting Teachers Based in Blenheim that work alongside the Little Red Fox in home educators. I am a fully qualified and registered teacher and have been working in the Early Childhood sector for the past 10 years. I love working with children and supporting them to grow and develop into confident annd capable learners. I got into this job as I enjoyed the fun factor of children and loved the fact that with children one day was never going to be the same as the next and of course I love seeing the joy on a child’s face when the achieve something new or when their interests are being acknowledged through something you have provided for them. 
I am married to my husband Phil and we have two young boys Liam and Joseph. They keep us very busy when I am not working, we enjoy doing lots of things as a family. We love getting out on the water and going fishing, we do a little bit of camping when the weather is nice and enjoy going hunting when we get the chance.
We also live on a lifestyle farm so we are never short of things to do. I am also a lover of  animals and have a variety here that also to keep me busy. We breed Pigs, Chickens, Ducks and are getting into breeding Turkeys. We also have pet goats, a fat little Kune kune pig, a dog and cat.

Kelsi Hardiman

Nelson Manager

My name is Kelsi, 
I live in Richmond with my Husband and our five children, our Labradoodle Puppy and our two Minilop Rabbits. 
I am the Nelson Manager for Little Red Fox ECE. I was born and raised in Nelson and I have been teaching here for the past 9 years. Before joining Little Red Fox I spent 6 years in an Early Learning Centre where I enjoyed a variety of roles with different age groups. Prior to this, I worked in a centre where I enjoyed working one-on-one to support children with diverse needs. This has given me the skills and appreciation to nurture children’s identity and foster their learning as individuals. 
I am committed to working with Educators and families to provide them with the best start to their early learning journey.

Caitlin Riordan

Nelson Visiting Teacher

Kia ora, My name is Caitlin and I am so excited to be joining the Little Red Fox whānau as a visiting teacher in Nelson.
I have been working in early childhood education for the last 10 years in New Zealand and Australia. I have worked in various roles including being a team leader and now I am looking forward to my new role and learning along the way.
My husband Sean and I have two beautiful children who have helped shape me into the teacher I am today. Charlie is our sassy 3.5 year old girl and Kobi is our loud 1 year old boy.
I can't wait to meet you all and join in on this wonderful journey together.
