Kia Ora my name is Sarah. I have been an in home childcare educator for the past 6 years. I hold my level 4 in early childhood education and care as well as a current first aid certificate. My partner Bruno and I have two children between us, Archie who is 7 and Charlie who is 3. We are a busy family who enjoy adventuring our gorgeous region and beyond. I believe the experiences our children are exposed to help shape them into inquisitive learners and grow their young minds. Therefore I ensure I offer the children in my care endless opportunities and outings. I feel passionate about leading a team of children who are caring, respectful and eager learners. I am honored to be considered an extension of the family for each of the children I care for. I aim to provide a very personal relationship with each of my children and their families being as flexible and attentive to each of their individual needs and aspirations. Some of our daily adventures include attending community groups for example; the library and music. We regularly attend playgroup at the Little Red Fox hub where the children get the chance to catch up with their other Fox friends. I enjoy maintaining these friendships through smaller play dates with other educators, either at one of our homes or on an outing. When the seasons allow, we berry, fruit and veg pick. We visit parks, reserves and cafes -my little people are fluffy lovers! On occasion we visit the supermarket and hardware/ craft stores, the children love being involved in buying supplies! At home, we have a huge range of quality resources both indoors and out. Toys get rotated regularly so there is always something new and exciting to enjoy. We enjoy art and craft, baking, playdough and books. Plenty of play opportunities are available as I strongly believe children learn through play.
